About Me
Hi, I found out I had uterus didelphys when I was 20. I tried tampons and it never worked. I've always had very painful periods and very heavy. I have 2 children who were premature and I was watched very closely with high risk doctors. In the last couple of years I've notice my period getting heavier and longer and more painful. My Gyno was giving me birth control which I couldn't tolerate. Then gave me a medication to help with heavy bleeding and lessen pain and did nothing. I've tried heating pads and Motrin, which helps a little but my cramps start 3 days early then my period is 7 days and then it slowly tapers off so it's about 11 or 12 days of misery. My Gyno referred me to a pain specialist and he said he couldn't help me and referred me to a urogynocologist which said they could help? My GYNO was giving me pain medicine and decided after several month he didn't want to but it actual helped where I could take care of my children and was able to work but I just don't know what to do. Is a partial hysterectomy my only chose? I'm just so depressed about it. Any suggestions I would appreciate it. Post a CommentOops! The words you entered did not match the given text.
