uterus didelphys help

About Me

I am 31 years old, pregnant for the first time. I was diagnosed with a Uterine didephys in my teens. My husband and I have been trying to get prgnant since we got married two years ago. Now I worry about being able to carry the baby.

I am now 33 years old and have had 2 miscarriages. After the first one I was okay, but the second one devastated me and now I am very scared to try again... My doctor is positive and we have a 'plan of action' of sorts so I am slightly comforted...

Now I am 35, I have had my septum exised and will be undergoin IUI to see if I can get pregnant and stay pregnant.

Hi there Carin :) I think you left a comment earlier today but possibly deleted it? I could read the bit about you mentioning that you've mainly heard 'Uterine' over 'Uterus' Didelphys in the email, but nothing more! So, in reply to that, I can assure you that it is commonly referred to as both, although I agree that some people recognise 'Uterine' as the primary name just as many see 'Uterus' as the most obvious name. Just by preference :) I think everybody understands what both terms mean though and that they tend to refer to the same condition so hopefully there's little confusion!
Thanks and love,
Phoebe xxx

Hello Carin :)
I'm ever so sorry it's taken me so long to say hello, but a huge welcome to the site.
I very much hope you will find support and helpful information here, everyone is here to help eachother, so I hope we can help.
If you haven't already had a chance to, there are many women here who have had very successful pregnancies, who are pregnant and who are trying, so I'm sure there will be plenty of women for you to talk to here.
Hopefully talk soon,
All my love, Phoebe xxxx
